Review of Netflix's Series: Turning Point - 9.11 and The War on Terror

 

If you haven’t watched the Netflix’s Series: Turning Point – 9.11 and The War on Terror yet, you should. It’s an eye opening look at how the U.S. Government perpetuated a 20 year war, based on lies, that killed hundreds of thousands people including soldiers, civilians, women and children.

The United States has spent more than $2.3 Trillion on the war in Afghanistan. More than 2,400 American Service Members have died and more than 50,000 have been wounded. At least 150,000 afghans have been killed, many of them civilians.

This series go through each presidency starting with George Bush, explores the lies and failures in Afghanistan and Iraq, and interviews leaders from the U.S. Military, United Nations, foreign governments, and the Taliban.
